We are both excited to celebrate our birthday with you! Thank you all so much for the love and support you have given for the last 4 years. We could have never dreamed of how much the Nominal Family has grown, and we are beyond grateful for each of you. Alhamdulillah we have you to thank for this dream come true.
To celebrate our birthday as best we know how, we are launching a collection inspired by our gorgeous state of Arizona, the home of Nominal. We have so many surprises up our sleeve for 2022, and we're excited for our birthday to be the first event we celebrate with you this year. We hope you're ready!

Our Story
Founded | 2018
In the middle of a time-consuming and mentally taxing master's program, Akram and Lena founded Nominal with the intention to create a brand that allowed people to express their inner values through what they wore. Starting in a small townhouse in Phoenix, Arizona, Nominal truly started with just a few items, a small room, and a couple that had dreams for a global reach.
First Office | 2019
Against the advice of many people, Akram decided to leave the townhouse to move Nominal into a 1,200 square foot office space. With the new office, January marked the one-year anniversary of Nominal, and also the beginning of a new chapter that involved exponential growth for the brand.
Moving Again (Twice) | 2020
After hitting the two year anniversary, Akram and the team decided that the year would start on a better foot if they had a more spacious work environment that could allow for more creativity and flow. They signed the lease for a nearby office that was 3,200 square foot, close to three times the size of the first office.
With a quickly filling office that required more space, in preparation for Black Friday, Akram signed a lease for a 9,200 square foot warehouse as of October 16th, 2020. None of this would be possible without the unwavering support and love from the Nominal Family.
4th Annual Black Friday | 2021
In 2021, Nominal hosted its fourth ever Black Friday Sale. With a team of over 20 talented individuals, we were able to provide the best customer experience we've ever delivered. We can't wait to continuously outdo ourselves in the years to come, and most importantly, keep making the Nominal Family proud. Here's to a 2022 that focuses on love, growth, kindness, and global impact.
