I’m extremely disappointed with Nominal. I ordered a ring, paid everything online including shipping, and still had to pay an unexpected $16.03 CAD COD fee when picking up my package from Canada Post.
After contacting Canada Post, they confirmed the fee was not a customs charge and had been requested by Nominal directly. I provided all the proof, including a transaction reference number, and reached out multiple times to get it resolved.
Nominal promised to investigate, then stopped replying. Despite all my respectful efforts and patience, they failed to take responsibility.
I supported this brand thinking it reflected values of honesty and integrity — especially as a Muslim-owned company. But sadly, my experience showed the opposite.
Be careful when ordering. You may end up paying hidden fees with no accountability or support.

We contacted Canada Post directly, and they confirmed the charge was issued by DHL—not by Nominal—as part of their processing fees, which are unfortunately not always visible during checkout. We’ve attached a recorded confirmation of this in the email we sent to you for transparency.
We understand it seemed like this charge came from us, and we truly empathize with how frustrating that must have been. That’s why we took your report seriously, contacted the necessary parties, and reached out to you via email to explain our findings and offer support.
